Our two-bedroom ground floor holiday apartment is set within the grounds of the beautiful Redcastle Hotel, Leisure & Golf Resort, in an enviable shoreside location on the banks of Lough Foyle looking towards the Sperrin mountains amongst a group of privately owned chalets and apartments.
Built in 1990, this ground-floor 2 bedroom apartment has its own private entrance and is surrounded by mature trees within the established hotel and golf complex. The front-facing living, kitchen and dining area enjoys beautiful views across Lough Foyle, creating a peaceful setting for a relaxing break on the Inishowen Peninsula.
The neighbouring Redcastle Hotel, leisure facilities and golf course make this an appealing and popular year-round destination, combining the tranquillity of the Donegal coast with the convenience of being within easy reach of Derry/Londonderry and the many attractions of Inishowen.

About our apartment ...
Our apartment is in the left hand block in the photo as you look at it from the water face on. It is the second block of apartments furthest from the hotel.
Located on the ground floor, right hand side we have upstairs neighbours and neighbours adjacent to us in the block that utilise their holiday homes for their own peaceful retreat.
It's therefore important to us that everyone, including our neighbours are able to enjoy the time they spend here.

Where it's located...
Redcastle sits on the eastern shore of the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal, overlooking the beautiful waters of Lough Foyle towards the hills of Northern Ireland. Surrounded by rolling countryside and dramatic coastal scenery, it’s a peaceful corner of Donegal while still being remarkably easy to reach.
The village lies just south of Moville, with Greencastle and the Lough Foyle Ferry further along the coast, while Derry City is around 25 minutes away by car. It’s an ideal base for exploring Inishowen, from coastal villages and beaches to Malin Head, Ireland’s most northerly point.
Redcastle is also part of the Wild Atlantic Way, placing you within easy reach of some of Donegal’s most spectacular coastline, walks, historic sites and scenic drives. Whether you’re heading north to explore Inishowen or simply want somewhere quiet by the water, Redcastle gives you the best of both — a tranquil coastal setting with Derry and the wider North West close at hand.
